Anodes with Shielding

New shielding system developed by METAKEM to positively influence the electrochemical processes at the insoluble anode. Longer bath service life due to strong reduction of the oxidation rate of bath additives.

Apart from dimensionally stable anodes there are also metal sheets and expanded metals made of nickel, soluble anodes as well as anode baskets equipped with the shielding system. A strong reduction of oxidation rate of the additives is achieved – the benefit: longer service life of the electrolyte.
