METAKEM was established in 1974 to produce and develop applications of titanium-, niobium- and special anodes, precious metal salts and compounds and coatings of platinum group metals.

The company, located in Usingen close to Frankfurt(Main) / Germany, is focused on finding customized as well as standard solutions with a complete chemo-physical overview and understanding of chemistry and electrochemistry, cathodic protection and corrosion, the use of anodes, their limitations and behavior and the recovery and refining of precious metals.
